Sanitation vehicles rely on hydraulic actuation for virtually every powered function — and not all of those functions use the same type of hydraulic cylinder. A refuse truck body that needs to tip at a 50-degree angle to discharge its load at the landfill, a packer blade that needs a 900 mm compression stroke inside a fixed-length body, and a bin lift that needs a rapid 400 mm vertical stroke all have different force, stroke, and packaging requirements. Where Telescopic Cylinders Are Used in Sanitation Vehicles

Maintenance Differences: What Changes for Telescopic Units
